Adding Shelves to the Office Nook

In the living room we had this weird corner nook that really served no purpose and was hard to decorate, so we decided to slip a desk in there and use it as an “office nook.”

We used the desk I had painted a while back in the corner and it fit perfectly, but there wasn’t much room for storage. We also added the chair I had reupholstered.

For storage we added some shelving above the desk. I picked up the shelving and shelf brackets from Home Depot. The shelf brackets cost about $6 each and the shelves were about $10 each.

There are still some other decorative accents we want to add but for now the shelves are up and functioning!
