A while back I bought a metal storage cart from Target, which I used for various things throughout the past year. Now, I decided to use it as a “beauty cart.” However, I wasn’t totally in love with the boring black color of the cart and decided to give it a little makeover. (p.s. Ikea also sells a similar cart which you cant find here)

I should mention, this cart is only $30 and has functioned amazing! The quality is great especially for only $30, but I just wanted something a little more visually pleasing. I decided to go with a white and gold theme for this project. After taking the cart apart I spray painted the drawers with Rustoleum White Semi-Gloss Spray Paint and the base with Design Master No.240 24KT Pure Gold Spray Paint.

I spray painted wide mouth mason jars with the same gold spray paint to use as storage for cosmetic brushes and hair brushes and whatnot.

The gold makeup brushes I got here and for being a $9 Amazon purchase they work really well.
The wood boxes I got a while back from Hobby Lobby. They aren’t available online anymore, but I’m sure you can easily find them at any craft store.
