One of the last rooms in the house to get a makeover was the master bedroom. Here is what it looked like before. These photos were taken in July of 2014. The walls were painted with some hideous yellowish orange beige paint and it made the room look small and yellow all the time. The trim was also a huge fail in the room. It was painted with the builders paint and definitely need an update. All the room really needed was a coat of paint on the walls, trim and doors and it would look a million times better. I decided to paint the walls Behr Pixel White. It’s a gray with a slight brown tint to it. For the trim I used Behr Ultra Pure White Semi Gloss. Take a look at the doors with the Behr Ultra Pure White paint and the builder’s paint and you’ll see the impact the fresh coat of paint had. We moved the desk into the office area {where it belongs} and replaced it with a dresser I used to have in my room.
